The shielding foil is made of a crystalline nickel-iron alloy – a so-called mu-metal – and can reduce magnetic alternating fields. Supply data of the foil: thickness 0.1 mm, length 100 cm and width 15.5 cm. It can be cut to size with scissors to fit the object to be shielded. The foil is self-adhesive. Should the shielding effect be insufficient, it is possible to add further layers without any problem. The shielding foil is also ideal to shield the low-frequency portion of the disturbance emitted from cables and wires. The cables will be overlapped and taped with this foil, thus affording safe protection against magnetic interference or dissemination. The effect of the shielding can be directly measured with a field meter.
